]]> During the first quarter of 2023, tax authorities received a total of 78,398 applications, 93 percent of which were applications, 6.9 percent were complaints, and 0.1 percent were various proposals. Consideration of 88.3 percent of applications was completed during that period, 11.7 percent are currently being processed. 66.6 percent of reviewed appeals were resolved, 30.5 percent were explained, and relevant decisions were made regarding the rest. The actual number of complaints decreased by 17.8 percent compared to the corresponding period of last year. The vast majority of actual complaints resolved were related to in-house tax audits, removal of financial sanctions, the rest related to tax liability, taxpayer registration, tax arrears and other issues. During the months of January-March, reception of a total of 96 citizens was organized by the relevant officials in the Office of the State Tax Service. During the reception, each citizen’s appeal was treated individually, necessary measures were taken for the positive resolution of their legal demands, legal explanations were given regarding the issues beyond the possibility of resolution.

Due to the need to adapt them to the 7-digit activity codes and the changes made in the Tax Code, those standards have already been approved in a new edition, and a web version of “Uniform standards of tax relations for types of economic activities” has been prepared to increase the accessibility of use (https://bit.ly/vahid-standartlar ).
Through the web platform, users, including employees of tax authorities, are informed about tax obligations arising from types of economic activities, including tax exemptions and concessions, types of payments that should and cannot be applied from the point of view of taxation, object registration, NKA and POS-terminal installation, obtaining a license. they will be able to access the information easily. As a result of measures implemented by the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy in the direction of formalizing workplaces, “whitening” the wage fund and ensuring transparency, the number of concluded labor contracts increased by 353.9 thousand units compared to the beginning of 2019, and in April 2023 reached 1,755.8 thousand on the 1st of May. In the private section of the non-oil sector, this indicator increased by 298.1 thousand units and made 838 thousand.
